He Prays For Me Sunday, May 17, 2009
Isn't it good to have someone praying for you? I'm always excited when someone tells me that they are praying for me. That's awesome to know that someone is taking my name before the creator of the universe.
Here's something really cool and encouraging. Jesus prays for us! Wow, talk about the ultimate cool thing. John 17:20 tells us "Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word". That means if have put your trust in Him as Savior, He prayed, and is praying for you!
Enjoy our Savior this week. Bask in His love. Be encouraged that you were on His mind when He was on the cross, and you are ... |

Extreme Makeover Sunday, May 03, 2009
Well, maybe not totally brand new but the boys cabins at camp are refurbished. It is pretty awesome to see. And yes, they now have air conditioning like the girls have. A long awaited improvement.
But unlike the cabins, when Christ comes into our lives and hearts, we become BRAND NEW. The Bible teaches that when we become children of God, old things are passed away and all things become brand new.
